"Winter" certainly is a fitting title for this deviation. The tiny little feather thingies (whatever they're called!) in the background in combination with the even tinier little drops look like little crystals - fantastic!
The way you chose the depth of field created a lot of bokeh which may be overused these days but I think it works awesomely here.
The actual subject of this shot, the drop, for some reason looks a little flat to me, I'm guessing it's just the angle, though.
Lastly I think the colors are beautiful, it's a very bright picture, whereas the beige and grey tones have an almost melancholic feel to me.

The combination of "Winter's" drab color scheme and it's randomized flashes of sparkle are what immediately enlisted my attention. This is a beautiful macro shot that easily touches the senses when thinking of winter. When I think of this season, I think of sunny days where the light hits the shimmering snow and cold cold nights. This photo depicts it all. What I appreciate the most is the use of a feather. You wouldn't expect this by just looking at it, but it is disguised quite well.

I would like to see the top feathery area more in focus. Maybe not even all of it, just some of it, but the bead of water is just perfect. Other than that, I can't find a thing wrong with this photo!

It's cold, it's stark, it's beautiful. Wonderful job.
